What customers say?

“ The chicken and eggs are simply delicious. Of course they're fresh. And the pesticide-free seasonal vegetables are impeccable. The friendly service from the local ladies is also pleasant. Touring riders and those on a drive all drop in here. If you go a little later, it's relatively easy to get in. I recommend starting with the "Chicken Soup with Raw Egg on Rice." Then the minced meat rice bowl, Hakushu chicken curry...well, they're all delicious, so don't worry. There's also a fun selection of souvenirs to choose from, with a wide variety of local produce. This adds another restaurant (set meal restaurant) to the list of places to go to with someone special. #RestaurantsToGoWithSomeoneSpecial ”

“ I visited because I heard that pets were allowed on the terrace, but there was a swallow's nest so terrace seating was not available. Unfortunately, my dog had to wait in the car. I ordered a miso soup set meal and Hakushu chicken curry, which was delicious. The menu said that the large miso soup set meal came with three eggs, but it actually came with four. There wasn't enough rice. The miso soup was also delicious - I was very satisfied. ”

“ On a trip to Yamanashi with my best friend on September 6th and 7th, 2024, she told me about a restaurant serving delicious raw egg rice. Since it was a weekday, we were able to go without a wait. The restaurant is open from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, so it's best to go earlier on a day off. I ordered the raw egg rice set with a large serving of rice. A short while later, the large serving of raw egg rice set arrived, along with the main dish of the day: eggs. Since chickens don't lay large eggs during the summer, this season's dish came with three small eggs. I cracked the eggs, poured soy sauce over them, and poured them all over rice. It was absolutely delicious! The eggs were incredibly fresh, and paired perfectly with the rice. I couldn't stop eating. If you're craving delicious raw egg rice, I highly recommend Opponitei Kokko! I also ordered boiled chicken wings, but they were a little underwhelming, and my best friend said they were too salty for boiled chicken wings, so I minus one star and gave it four stars. The egg on rice was delicious!! Thank you for the meal. I also ordered egg pudding, which was also very delicious. ”

“ Visited around 11:15 on a Saturday. While we were eating, the restaurant was almost full. No wonder it's a popular restaurant! Chicken soup set meal and boiled chicken wings. Also got pudding to go. The chicken soup was incredibly delicious. Next time I'd like to try the hamburger steak set meal. Second visit. I had the hamburger steak set meal as planned. I didn't order an egg this time, but they had bonito flakes and other ingredients which made it go down well with rice. ”

“ I was thinking of having a light lunch of rice with raw egg on top, but I was surprised when the product arrived. The eggs were large, fresh, and delicious with no eggy smell. I ordered the chicken soup set meal, and the meatballs were really tasty. ”

“ I had the chicken soup set meal. The light yet delicious egg on rice was amazing, and the chicken soup was also great because you could adjust the flavor yourself with the miso and spicy miso provided in the chicken broth. When I go to Ojiro no Yu, I'll definitely have lunch here! ”

“ A restaurant that specializes in eggs. Opening hours are short, from 11:30am to 2:30pm. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays. There is parking in front and behind the restaurant. They allow dogs to be tied up on the terrace. The main dish is the egg-on-rice set meal, but other options include chicken curry and minced meat rice bowl. Even the regular portion is quite filling, so the large portion is more for adult men. They only use eggs from free-range chickens that are carefully selected for their feed, so the raw eggs have absolutely no distinctive egg smell. The egg-on-rice set meal is refreshing. The miso soup and chicken soup that come with the set meal are both packed with ingredients and very delicious. The prices are also reasonable, which is a plus. You can also purchase delicious eggs as souvenirs. Even though it was lunchtime on a weekday, most of the seats were taken. I heard it gets very crowded on weekends and there can be a wait. ”
